System requirements
Windows x64 is the initial application release target. These preparation notes will be updated with the final requirements when the first public build is published.
| Component | Initial Windows release |
|---|---|
| Platform | 64-bit Windows on an Intel or AMD x64 processor. Exact supported Windows versions will be listed with the release. |
| Graphics | Graphics hardware with current drivers. Plugins using an independent Dear ImGui window require OpenGL 3.3. |
| Memory & storage | Minimum RAM and disk requirements will be published with the first build. Allow additional space for projects and recorded logs. |
| Application runtime | Included with the Windows application. No separate Qt, compiler or .NET installation is required to run EpicTuner. |
| ECU connection | A compatible ECU definition and communication interface for live tuning. USB/serial adapters may require their manufacturer's driver. Offline log analysis does not require an ECU connection. |
| Plugin development | C++20 compiler and CMake. See the SDK setup guide for toolchains and build commands. |
Other platforms
Linux and ARM64 SDK development is underway. Public desktop packages for Linux, Raspberry Pi, macOS and Windows ARM64 are not available. Follow the SDK platform matrix for the current verification scope.
